OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

Jobsite/Workplace Audit
For a job site or workplace analysis, a WHRDG industrial engineer will analyze the work-site for possible safety hazards, collect all relevant data and meet with the employer to discuss possible modifications or redesign of the workplace.

Job Analysis
Along with an evaluation of the worksite, a certified ergonomic assessment specialist will also analyze the design of the specific job function to assess any potential hazard to employees. A WHRDG engineer can also redesign the job function to provide the necessary safety required to meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Statistics show that 80 billion dollars was spent last year alone in work place injuries involving ergonomics.

Work Recovery and Conditioning
In the event of a workplace injury, an Occupational Therapist will plan and conduct individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform their work routine and daily activities.
